A lover of gardens from a young age, Simon got his first taste of gardening while working as a part-time gardener at university in 2010. Little did he know that he would be designing gardens this present day.

Longing to study garden design, he had the perfect opportunity when his hours were cut by the consequences of the COVID pandemic. Initially he was able to self-study, in which he discovered Capability Brown and Joseph Banks. Their inspiration and dedication in their respective fields motivated Simon to pursue his endeavour.

Once the local botanical gardens opened back up their study centre, Simon started training with the RHS in 2021, studying The Principles of Garden Planning, Establishment and Maintenance, along with Practical Horticulture at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

Alongside his Garden Design business, Simon works as a Personal Trainer, in which he has twelve years of experience. Working as a remote Personal Trainer for the last three years has enabled him to work in parks and private gardens, in which Simon takes note of style and constantly practices his plant identifications.

Simon is an experienced and frequent garden traveller. He has travelled to many gardens over Britain, but also botanical gardens in NY, Singapore, Barbados, Poland & Portugal. His garden design plans contain a myriad of shrubs, perennials and trees and has a keen eye for attention to detail.
